For those of you who have trouble breaking from the office, the cottage is equipped with wireless high speed internet access. For those of you who have trouble breaking from the Bosox, there are two TVs with all the necessary sports networks.

The house is situated on the point with rocky shores. You can walk or bike to a beach on either side of the point for a relaxing rest or an eye opening swim in the ocean. There are a couple of restaurants that are walking distance along with the delicious ice cream at Browns which is just a block away.

Located less than 2½ miles from the base of Stowe Mountain and only 5 miles from historic, quaint downtown Stowe, this home offers more than you can imagine. This home boasts a full kitchen with two dining areas, sauna, pool table a 3 indoor fireplaces. All of the bedrooms offer their own beautiful charm and are well appointed. Located off of Mountain Road less than 2½ miles from the base of Stowe Mt. and only 5 miles from historic, quaint downtown Stowe, Vermont this home offers more than you can imagine. The panoramic mountain views will leave lasting memories. Skiers will awake to a view of the trails; other vacationers may relax for hours enjoying peace and tranquility on the enormous wrap around porch in awe of the beauty.

Visited New England Theme Parks

Water Country – Location: Portsmouth NH. Ticket price includes all water slides and attractions, use of the picnic groves, free tubes for rides and the ability to leave and re-enter the park throughout the day. You are allowed to bring in coolers, drinks and food. No alcohol. The wave pool offers all day cabana rentals and the parking is Free! VIP parking is $10. More on that below.

We had a blast at Water Country. We arrived early (the golden rule of theme parks) and passed on the VIP parking. We soon regretted that decision when we had the cooler, three bags and two kids in tow. We secured some chairs in front of the pirate ship which was perfect for keeping an eye on the kids. The rides and attractions we’re a lot of fun. The “big bucket” was the kid’s favorite. In the afternoon the lines became very long so we mostly relaxed by the pool. We found the park well laid out and very clean. The life guards we’re very attentive.

Canobie Lake Park – Location: Salem NH. Situated on the shore of beautiful Canobie Lake, this New Hampshire amusement park is famous. It was originally established in 1902 with only a handful of attractions and games. Today it has over 35 rides, including 4 roller coasters, waterslides, games, food and entertainment. Visitor can bring in food and drinks, no alcohol, with the big bonus being kids 3 yrs and younger enter for free!

We had a great time at Canobie Lake. there are rides for all ages but it is mostly geared for children. The 3 yrs and younger free policy was a huge bonus! Lot’s of rides for kids! We liked the flume rides the best but we would need two days to go on all the rides since the kids always wanted to re-peat rides. We found the parks theme very quaint. It was well laid out and extremely clean. The roller coasters we’re a “scream”! We didn’t have time to take advantage of the waterslides.. maybe next time.

Edaville Railroad – Location: South Carver MA. Step back into time when life moved a little more slowly and simple pleasures were the best. Edaville Railroad recreates this era with a family fun park featuring trains, turn of the century buildings, an old fashioned carousel, museum and children’s rides.

What kid doesn’t like trains? Ours do! This narrow gauge railroad is a thrill for the little one’s. We missed Thomas the tank week but our friends said it was great. They only have a few rides but the trains are the major attraction at this park and they didn’t disappoint. we found the overall condition of the park a little messy and the concessions expensive. Theme park concessions are typically pricey and not so great but the concessions here stood out negatively. Other than that it was a fun time.

Canobie Lake Park!

We loved Canobie Lake Park! It was so much better than we expected. We expected a park of this age to be a bit run down. It was NOT. The theme was quaint with the mining towns and old Boston streets. It was in great shape and very inviting. The Boston Tea Party flume ride was the favorite of the day with the roller coasters coming in a close second. The carnival games, concessions and entertainment were great as well. We can’t wait to go back.

Lake Compounce – Location: Bristol CT.
Titled the oldest family amusement park in the united states. Known for its wooden roller coasters and pretty scenery.

Quassy Amusement Park – Location: Middlebury CT.
Quassy was founded as an amusement park in 1908 and sits on the south shore of lake Quassapaug. It sits on 20 plus acres and has 24 rides including kiddie rides, aracade, concessions and restaurant. Swim in the spring fed lake and eat lunch in the picnic grove.

Funtown U.S.A – Location: Saco ME.
An amusement and waterpark (Splashtown), Funtown offers a large assortment of rides including go carts, batting cages and waterslides. Loads of fun.

York’s Wild Kingdom – Location: York Beach ME.
Offers a variety of family rides, petting zoo, haunted house, paddle boats, scenic picnic grounds and even an 18 hole miniature golf course. Within shouting distance of downtown York Beach.

Six Flags New England – Location: Agawam MA.
Formerly known as Riverside Park. Six Flags is the New England’s largest theme and water park. It it an assortment of kiddie and adult rides. Some will make your hair stand straight up!

Storyland – Location: Glen NH.
Theme park of small villages based on children’s stories. A park where characters come to life in a natural setting. A place where children and their imagination can run free.

Whales Tale Park – Location: Lincoln NH.
The only wave pool in all of New Hampshire. Ride the big waves or relax at the shallow end. A place for the whole family. A splashing good time awaits you.
